Help install beds, benches, flowers, and potentially more into a new garden downtown on a vacant lot. This public garden will be a quiet space full of beautiful native flowering plants to offer a place for relaxation or meditation. More details to come.
CityServe Augusta is an initiative to help organize local churches, nonprofits, and community leaders to partner together to address community needs. We seek to do this while promoting unity, diversity, and community that could lead to ongoing partnership in Christ’s name.
On April 29, 2017, churches and nonprofits joined hands with businesses and local government departments in CityServe Augusta’s 2017 Day of Service. Over 1,100 volunteers took on nearly 40 projects across Augusta. Through donations and volunteer hours, these projects helped local schools, government agencies, and other groups save over $15,000 in expenses. They also brought awareness to many ongoing needs throughout our communities. Check out the video below and be sure to go to our ongoing projects tab or our facebook page to see more photos!
Thank you for Donating/Participating in the 2017 Day of Service!
February 23rd Vision Luncheon
Over 60 groups were represented at our vision luncheon on February 23rd. Guests came from churches, non-profits, local businesses, and government agencies to discuss ways we can work together to serve our community. We heard from guest speaker, Kevin Palau, about his experience with similar projects in other cities. We also heard from Mayor Hardie Davis, and the CityServe chairmen about the upcoming April 29th Day of Service.
